How is Ross University accredited?
RUSVM is currently accredited by the St. Kitts and Nevis
Accreditation Board to confer the degree of Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine. The degree is recognized by the government and RUSVM graduates
are entitled to practice in the islands of St. Kitts and Nevis,
subject to local laws relating to immigration and the granting of
work permits.
The U.S. Department of Education (U.S.D.E.) has certified Ross University as an eligible institution for Title IV U.S. Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFEL) loans. Students who qualify are eligible to receive U.S. student loans in order to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
We also have affiliation agreements with 23 of the
28 Schools of Veterinary Medicine located in the U.S. where Ross
students spend their final three clinical semesters.
Are Ross University graduates easily able to practice veterinary medicine in the United States?
Ross University graduates are eligible to practice veterinary medicine in the United States once they pass the requisite licensing examinations. Licensure requirements vary by state.
