Theriogenology (VMS 5775) - 5 Credits

The study of male and female reproductive systems of domestic animals, which provides a basis for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of reproduction is presented. The course also covers breeding soundness examination, pregnancy diagnosis, gross pathology, and estrus cycle changes in the genital tract; reproduction management of dairy and beef herds, brood mares, sheep, goats, swine, dogs, and cats, and dystocia.
