Food Hygiene & Public Health (VMS 5474) - 2 Credits

This course discusses important aspects of veterinary medicine such as food preservation, milk hygiene, humane slaughter, meat inspection and food borne diseases. In addition, students are expected to learn basic concepts of disaster medicine, emerging infectious diseases, bioterrorism, and water quality.
