Pathobiology

Parasitology (VMP 5465) - 5 Credits

The study of helminthic, protozoan, and arthropod parasites which affect domestic animals, including animal parasites transmissible to humans. Lectures stress life cycles, identification, transmission, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of parasites. The laboratories focus on identification of parasites, and the clinical signs and lesions they produce.
