Gross Anatomy 2 (VMA 5216) - 5 Credits

The study of gross anatomy of the horse and ruminants, and, to a lesser extent, the pig and birds. Laboratories utilize embalmed donkey, sheep, goat, and ox cadavers, as well as fresh material for dissection; and live animals for applied anatomy workshops and pre-clinical sessions. The lectures use skeletal material and radiographs to emphasize anatomical structures of clinical significance.
