This is a systems-based course covering the entire
nervous system. The course covers applied neuroanatomy and neurophysiology,
with emphasis on clinically important reflex and reaction mechanisms
as well as tests utilized in neurologic physical examination.
Pathophysiology, lesion localization, and diagnostic techniques
are stressed using a combination problem- and case-based, video-assisted
approach. Teaching materials include computer autotutorials, which
present the gross and cross-sectional anatomy of the brain for
study. The course is supported on the World Wide Web.
