The course focuses on carbohydrate, lipid and
protein metabolism, with particular emphasis on regulation of
biochemical pathways at the cellular and organismal levels; membrane
chemistry and transport systems; fluid compartments and forces
which influence the movement of water and solutes across membranes;
composition of blood; and pathways of coagulation.
