The course focuses on neuro- and muscular physiology,
with particular emphasis on the behavior of membrane receptors
and channels; cardiovascular physiology, with particular emphasis
on electrical activity of the heart and defense of effective circulating
volume; renal physiology; and acid-base regulation.
