VetPrep Physiology (VPRP- 0907) ? Credits

The course is divided into two sections: 1) An introduction to the functions and transformations of carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids and proteins; membrane physiology, including receptors and second messengers; water balance and composition of the ICF and ECF; and acid-base balance 2) An introduction to functions of the major organ systems: nervous, muscular, cardiovasuclar, respiratory, renal, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and reproductive.
