Facilities: Media Center

*Notice*

The FDC is now known as the Media Center

The Media Center is now located next to the Financial Aid Department.

There are six (6) main computers, two (2) flat bed scanners with document feeders, one (1) 2x2 slide scanner, and two (2) printers installed for faculty and staff use in the FDC.

There is a workstation setup for video digitizing of VHS tapes and DVDs.

The Media Center Coordinator, Paul Orchard, is available to help with the hardware and software in the Media Center. Paul is located in the Media Center weekdays from roughly 8:30am to 4:30pm; please email him at porchard@rossvet.edu.kn to setup an appointment.

Computer Training In The Media Center

The Media Center is used for training sessions for faculty, and staff. Six new computers have been placed in the Media Center for this purpose.

The IT department is always willing to help any staff or faculty member who wants to learn the basics of computer functions, or commonly used programs on campus.

From time to time, class time and subjects will be posted for either faculty or staff. If no one attends the first two classes, then the class is called off.

If you are interested in having a one on one class, please contact Paula Randall.

Students can not use the Media Center unless it has been cleared by the IT Director, Paula Randall.
