What is SAAVMA?
SAAVMA is the Student Associate Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Locally, SAAVMA serves as a governing body of all student clubs and organizations at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. The SAAVMA is composed of an executive board and class representatives from every class currently on the St. Kitts campus. We act as liaisons between the entire student body, faculty, staff and the administration.
On a national level, we are granted membership of both SAVMA, and the AVMA. We have two students, our SAVMA Delegates, who attend the SAVMA House of Delegates meetings bi-yearly, representing our school’s students and their interests.
