American Association of Bovine Practitioners
The American Association of Bovine Practitioners is an international association of veterinarians organized to enhance the professional lives of its members through relevant continuing education that will improve the well-being of cattle and the economic success of their owners, increase awareness and promote leadership for issues critical to cattle industries, and improve opportunities for careers in bovine medicine.

The Ross University chapter of the AAEP strives to enhance the educational opportunities of its members; to inform members about veterinary related problems currently affecting the horse industry; and to promote the exchange of professional knowledge among its members and practitioners for the advancement of equine health.

American Animal Hospital Association
The purpose of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is to enhance the ability of veterinary students to provide quality medical care to companion animals, to conduct their practices successfully, to maintain their facilities with high standards of excellence, and to meet the public?s needs as they relate to animals. AAHA has initiated student membership to introduce students to the organization. The Ross University student chapter offers speakers, free resources (books), AVID chipping, and wet labs to promote these goals. All veterinary students may join the local chapter of the national association

American Society of Laboratory Animal Practitioners
Our main goal is to encourage students to learn more about the field of laboratory animal medicine. We serve to facilitate the exchange of scientific and technical information among those involved in laboratory animal practice by assisting members in improving their knowledge and technical skills related to all aspects of this field as well as to inform them of the opportunities availiable to as laboratory animal practitioners.

PAWS
Our mission is to protect the welfare of the animals we come in contact with, and to promote the humane treatment and well being of these animals by: Providing shelter and medical care for stray or abandoned animals on the island of St. Kitts. Through our foster program, animals have a safe, healthy place to live until loving homes can be found for them. Responding with personal commitment, humane sensitivity, and compassion, to the needs of these animals; Actively promoting suitable adoptions of the animals; Encouraging the spay and neutering of dogs and cats to ensure the numbers of unwanted animals be kept to a minimum; and helping to prevent cruelty to animals by promoting animal welfare education.

The Ross Chapter of the Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society is a club that is open to all students that have an interest in the field of Emergency Veterinary Medicine. We have recently become re-acquainted with the National Chapter of SVECCS and are very excited to get more involved with this organization. We have become more active on campus and will continue to become a bigger part of the Ross community in coming semesters. Animals On Campus Club
AOCC works with RUSVM especially Dr. Susan FitzHarris to assist caring for the animals, particularly the clinic dogs. Our main goal is to find homes for these dogs after they have served their time.There are fundraising events- like the Dog Jog- to help out with keeping them happy. We also have a semesterly kennel clean out- which anyone is welcome to help out with. We also are responsible for walking the dogs when 3rd semester has exams.
