PAVE Information
The PAVE is an exam that foreign Veterinary students take to be eligible to practice in certain states in the U.S (see below for recognizing states). You must pass the Qulaifying (written) portion before beginning your clinical year (8th semester).
Most students choose to take the exam in the beginning of 6th semester so that there is another chance to take it in 7th in case they fail the first time.
The PAVE application Fee is $250 and the
Qualifying Examination Fee is $800. If you need to retake the exam, you do not need to pay another application
fee.

ECFVG Information
The ECFVG is an exma taken after your clinical year that allows you to practice in all 50 US states.

IELTS (English Proficiency Exam)
The IELTS is an English proficiency exam required to take the PAVE if you DID NOT attend an english speaking high school.
NAVLE
The NAVLE is the national board exam that every veterinarian in the U.S. must take to practice. It is offered during a testing window of one month two times every year.
